About Sídhe Wellbeing

The Story Behind Sídhe Wellbeing by Sasha O'Great

SidheWellbeing is my way of sharing what I have gathered along my journey - a space for women to rest, explore and reconnect, in their own time and in their own way.

I created SidheWellbeing in 2021 with a simple intention: to offer women a space where they can feel safe, welcome and free to simply be. Life can leave us carrying responsibilities, worries and expectations, with very little time to pause and listen to ourselves. I wanted to create a space where women could step away from that pressure, relax, release the tension of everyday life and reconnect with what matters to them. Through sound baths, women's circles, healing sessions and creative workshops, SidheWellbeing offers opportunities to pause, explore and experience a sense of connection — with ourselves, with others and with the natural world. Whether through the resonance of a gong, the rhythm of a handmade shamanic rattle, a Kundalini practice or the simple experience of sitting together in a women's circle, my intention is to create an atmosphere of warmth, acceptance and ease. I believe wellbeing does not have to be complicated. Sometimes, we simply need the time and space to slow down, breathe and come back to ourselves.

About Me

My Journey with Sound, Kundalini, Shamanism and Wellbeing

My journey into holistic wellbeing has been shaped by years of travel, exploration and learning from different cultures. Having lived in Asia for many years, I developed a deeper appreciation for a mindful way of life, the connection between people and nature, and the importance of looking beyond the everyday. My journeys to India further deepened my curiosity about spirituality, energy and the many ways we can reconnect with ourselves. Over time, these experiences became more than simply a way of life — they became a path of personal exploration and a foundation for the work I share today. Now settled in Ireland, I bring together the knowledge, practices and inspiration I have gathered throughout my travels and studies, creating experiences that invite women to slow down, reconnect with themselves and find space away from the demands of everyday life.

My Practice

Shamanism is an important part of my personal journey. This connection also inspires my work with shamanic tools, particularly the making of ceremonial rattles, which I create by hand and share through workshops around Ireland. Sound healing is another of my deepest passions. Over five years of study, I completed a five-level sound healing diploma, exploring a range of practices including Celtic shamanism, tuning forks, gong baths and sound baths. My gong studies include training with Don Conreaux, widely recognised as a pioneering figure in bringing gong practices into modern yoga, meditation and sound-based wellbeing. I love working with sound in its many forms, exploring the unique qualities of different instruments and the atmosphere they create. Sound offers an opportunity to step away from constant thinking, settle into the present moment and experience a different kind of stillness. My practice includes Rahanni healing, Usui Reiki, Celtic Reiki and Kundalini Reiki. Kundalini energy and Kundalini activations are also among my deepest passions. I first encountered Kundalini during my travels in India, where my interest in this powerful spiritual practice began to unfold. I later trained in Ireland and continued to deepen my understanding through years of personal practice. Today, Kundalini is a significant part of my journey and the work I do. I am especially drawn to the combination of sound, energy and shamanic practices as a way of exploring deeper connection, awareness and personal transformation. I continue to explore these practices with curiosity, allowing my work to evolve through experience, continued learning and a deep appreciation for the traditions that inspire me.
